Martin Benavidez, Director.
Born in Córdoba in 1986. 
He studied Modern Literature at the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities of the National University of Cordoba, before entering the field of Architecture and Urbanism. He graduated as an architect from the Faculty of Architecture, Urbanism and Design at the National University of Cordoba. In 2011 he developed his thesis as a scholarship holder of the Cuarto Centenario programme at the Universidade de São Paulo (Brazil).
Since his graduation in 2012, he articulates in his academic and professional career, his two main interests: space and the word. In 2012 he moved to Brazil to join the MMBB Arquitetos studio. In 2015 he received the CAPES/CNPq national scholarship to write his master's thesis, in which he discussed issues related to the contemporary metropolis. Between 2016 and 2017 he worked as a visiting researcher at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin (Germany), with a grant from the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD). During the same year, he carried out an Artistic Residency in Linz (Austria), with a grant from the Architektur Forum Oberösterreich. 
Since 2018 he has been Assistant Professor in the Master's programme in Architectural and Urban Design, and in 2021 he will be Assistant Professor in the VIA Architecture Chair at the Faculty of Architecture, Urbanism and Design of the National University of Córdoba (Argentina). In 2018 he founded Ben-Avid, an architectural studio he runs in Córdoba, where he develops national and international architectural projects of various scales and complexities: commercial spaces, galleries and exhibition pavilions, urban and metropolitan transport infrastructure, urban scale studies, among others.
